** Conference postponed **
In response to the spread of coronavirus in the UK and abroad, the Society has taken the difficult decision to postpone this year's postgraduate conference, originally scheduled to take place on Saturday 25 April.
The conference will be rescheduled to take place later in the year, most likely August or September. However, in light of the unpredictability of the situation, no specific date can be set at this point in time.
The call for papers remains open for an extra couple of weeks, with a new deadline of 29 May 2020. Please see below for submission guidelines and an updated CFP.

The Society for French Studies is delighted to announce this year's postgraduate conference. The event is entitled Passages, to underline the period of postgraduate studies as a transformative journey from student to scholar. Students may wish to present an overview of their project or one particular aspect.
We invite proposals for papers and posters from current postgraduate students at Master's and doctoral level in French and Francophone Studies. Please download the call for papers below, and send your proposals to to firstname.lastname@example.org by 29 May 2020.
