PG activities at the 2018 conference

The Society for French Studies is keen to support postgraduate research at Masters, MPhil and PhD levels. We warmly invite postgraduate students to come and present their research at this year’s Annual Conference in Cork.

With up to ten different parallel sessions, the annual conference brings together hundreds of researchers in the field of French studies. This is a great opportunity to share your research not only with fellow students but also with more advanced scholars.

The conference also features a PG training session on ‘Life After the PhD’ led by Dr Kaya Davies Hayon and Dr Katherine Shingler.

Note that travel grants are available for all PG students presenting at the conference! Join the Society now and enjoy the reduced rate of £135 for the full conference (including 2 dinners and accommodation)! Monday dinner includes seating arrangements that will encourage networking between scholars in similar fields.

Further information on all of these opportunities is available here.
