The Society for French Studies is delighted to announce that its Visiting International Fellow for 2017/18 will be Peggy McCracken, Domna C. Stanton Collegiate Professor of French, Women’s Studies, and Comparative Literature, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Peggy McCracken’s research interests are in the intersections of medieval literature, history and theory. Her Fellowship will focus on the theme of ‘Political Ecologies’, and will explore the relationship between the ecology of the natural world, political ecology and ecologies of gender and sexuality in medieval literature and culture.
